What to Do When You're New
with Justine and Klark
Are you new to BDSM and kink? Do you have questions about how to approach people, find information, or even maintain your relationship while exploring this exciting interest? Don't worry, we've got you covered! Justine and Klark were recently in your shoes -- stepping in to the kink world with only each other, some hot fantasies, and a whole lot of curiosity. They will host a casual Q&A session where they give you the tips and tricks they've learned along the way while it is still fresh in their mind. Klark and Justine will cover such topics as embracing new experiences, how to not be socially awkward and approaching others for help with technique. No question is too small or too weird, and you can even submit them anonymously. This is not your standard 101 class where you'll cover the difference between freaky and vanilla (although we certainly can if you want!), but instead is geared at showing you how to grab the bull by the horns and make the most of your first year in kink.

Bondage for Sadists and Masochists 6PM to 7:45PM
Galleria Domain 2 is excited to host Seattle's Jim Duvall for his class on the intricacies of combining pain and bondage. Pain is usually the body's way of telling us something is wrong. It stimulates an instinctual reaction to avoid, flee, recoil and get away. A lot of S/m play begins with a mastery of pain, how to manage it, and how to let it become some juicy, delicious, endorphin producing elixir. This workshop will be an effort to find the right types of pain for your scene and how to produce that sensation with rope. We will talk about pain to avoid and pain to languish and wallow in. We will also cover ties that can cause endurance or gradual pain and those that will strike immediately. Everyone should look forward to exploring their sadism and masochism in this class.
Jim Duvall Biography
Jim Duvall is an erotic photographer who shoots fine art nudes often involving bondage and fetish themes. He also provides content for many adult websites that involve bondage. He is a writer on sexuality and staff photographer for The Betty Pages, a Pacific North West LGBT magazine. He lectures and teaches on the subject of sex and sexuality at universities and for sex related groups. Jim is on the board of Directors of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom and past Chairperson of the Board. He is a founder and past president of the Board of Directors of the sex-positive community center Wetspot in Seattle. With his former partner Jane Duvall he founded JanesGuide.com, the consumer reports of online porn.

Lisa Junkin is an art educator and activist who works with diverse communities in Chicago. She currently directs the education program at the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum, where she co-founded the SEX+++ Documentary Film Series with Clarisse Thorn.
Lisa will discuss SEX+++ Film Series, a “pro-sex, pro-queer, pro-kink” program, and the importance of pushing private/public boundaries around sexuality in order to create a more free, just, and pleasurable society.
